Algonquin field hockey shuts out Westborough

Northborough – The Algonquin Regional High School Tomahawks field hockey team defeated the Shrewsbury High School Rangers by a score of 3-0 in a game played Oct. 30.

Angela Ferro had two goals for Algonquin and Lauren Speranzella scored once.

Algonquin improved to 12-2-4 on the season with the win while Westborough fell to 11-3-1. The field hockey playoff seeding will be announced on Monday, Nov. 2.
