Coggeshall leads by example for Bravehearts

Worcester – A player with all the tools and the makeup of Shrewsbury native and Assumption College senior Mike Coggeshall is a rare find, according to Worcester Bravehearts manager J.P. Pyne. The 6’3”, 200 lb. Coggeshall swings a hot bat, is more than solid defensively at third base, but also brings intangibles such as leadership and guidance to a clubhouse with many first-year players seeking to make the transition from college baseball.

Shrewsbury Master Plan discussed by selectmen

Marlborough – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has committed to investing nearly $88 million in projects in the city of Marlborough and surrounding areas. Major projects include $31.8 million for reconstruction of the I-90/I-495 interchange; $15.4 million for I-495 maintenance, signage, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for Marlborough, Hudson, and Berlin; and $14.6 million for I-290 maintenance.

Northborough Police searching for alleged assailant

Northborough – The Northborough Police Department are searching for a man who allegedly on June 23 assaulted a young woman jogging on Lyman Street near Talbot Road.

During the subsequent search of the area, a second female in Westborough reported to the Westborough Police Department that two men in a small black car circled around her in the area of Lake Chauncy.
