Marlborough – Lisa Ann Ruggiero, 49, of Marlborough died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Marlborough Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
She leaves her brother, Anthony J. Ruggiero Jr. of Acton, and two nephews, Andrew Ruggiero of South Boston and Robert Ruggiero of Acton.
She was born in Groton, daughter of the late Anthony J. Ruggiero and Lee Ann (Colella) Ruggiero, and had lived in Marlborough for the past 40 years. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School.
For the past several years, she was a bartender at Bullfinch's in Sudbury and previously was an administrative assistant for several years at Boston Scientific and at Digital in Marlborough.
She enjoyed spending time at Hampton Beach and Salisbury Beach in New Hampshire. She was an avid runner and enjoyed working out at the gym daily.
Following cremation, a time of remembrance of her life will be held Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to noon, in the John P. Rowe Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Marlborough. A time of reflection by her family and friends will follow at noontime.
