Marlborough – Dorothy Beauregard, 83, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Bolton Nursing Home in Marlborough after a lengthy illness.

Born in Belmont, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Agnes and Alfred Dube of Franklin, N.H. and a 1946 graduate of Oxford High School.

Mrs. Beauregard worked as a secretary at the State Mutual Assurance Company of Worcester. She also worked for over 10 years as a secretary at Raytheon in Northborough.

A devoted mother and homemaker, she volunteered her time at the food pantry for several years. She was a devoted catholic, attending services at the former St. Anne's Church and the Immaculate Conception Parish in Marlborough. She also volunteered to drive friends to various functions, appointments, shopping, etc.

She is survived by her children, Bruce E. Beauregard of Marlborough and Cynthia O”Toole and her husband, Michael, of Raleigh, N.C..; her siblings, Ronald Dube of Franklin, N.H., Donald Dube and his wife, Judy, of Upton, and Priscilla Denaris of Laconia, N.H.; and four grandchildren, Wayne A. Beauregard II, Timothy S. Beauregard, and Jonathon and Jennifer O”Toole. She also leaves behind a sister-in -aw, Elaine Dube of Hudson, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by a son, Wayne A. Beauregard, and a brother, Philip A. Dube.

Her funeral will be held Friday, April 13, at 9 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough. Visiting hours at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home, 95 West Main St., Marlborough, will be held Thursday, April 12, from 5 to 8 p.m.
