Marlborough – Zoe D. (Davis) Johnston, 74, formerly of Framingham, died Monday, April 23, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, at Community Hospice House of Merrimack, N.H.

She leaves her three children, Cindy B. Bouley and her husband, John, of Hudson, N.H.; Linda D. Immerman and her partner, Hector Hernandez, of Peterborough, N.H.; and Karen B. Bolduc Boulai of Marlborough. She also leaves four grandchildren, Sheena Bouley, Shayne Bolduc, Elizabeth Immerman, and Daniel Immerman; one great-granddaughter, Taylor Marie Bolduc; and a niece, Sandra Shea. She was sister of the late June Silverstein.

Born in Wolfboro, N.H., daughter of the late Clayton and Katherine (Maleham) Davis, she had lived in Marlborough for the past 13 years and, before that, she lived in Framingham. She was a graduate of the former Lexington Christian Academy and a graduate of Mt. Auburn School of Nursing in 1958.

Mrs. Johnston was a registered nurse for almost 50 years, working for the most part at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick and then at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She was a member of the Greater Grace Christian Fellowship Church of Marlborough, and a member and Past Worthy Matron and Grand Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star of Framingham. She also was a member and Royal Matron of the Order of the Amaranth Post 13 of Nashoba Valley.

She loved to sing gospel music, attend church services, and traveling with her friends and family.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 27, at 11 a.m., in the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday, April 26, from 5 to 8 p.m.
