Obit Doris BernardMarlborough – Doris (Auger) Bernard, 91, of Marlborough died Friday, April 5, 2013 at Marlborough Hills HealthCare Center. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of the late Adelard and Jeanne (Lacouture) Auger, she was the wife of the late Leon Bernard, who died in 1994.

A graduate of St. Ann's Academy, Class of 1941, Mrs. Bernard had been employed as a supervisor at the Atkins& Merrill Corporation, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the former St. Mary's Parish, Our Lady of the Assumption Guild, the COF, and active at the Marlborough Senior Center.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Bouse of Leominster and Jeanne Stirling and her husband, Dan, of Marlborough; her grandchildren, Mark Massey and his wife, Brandi, Michelle Donaldson and her husband, Sean, and Lisa McNamara and her husband, Kenneth; and her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Alec, Makayla, Hailey and Adam. She was also the sister of the late Donald, Raymond, and Roland Auger, and Irene White and Rhea Rougeau.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, April 8, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect. St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery of Marlborough.
