Hospice volunteers needed

43

Region – Hospice volunteers are urgently needed in MetroWest and Central Mass. Those who can offer companionship and support for people facing a life-limiting illness should consider becoming a hospice volunteer at MetroWest HomeCare & Hospice. Direct service hospice volunteers engage with patients, and their caregivers and families, to support a caring and compassionate environment and provide comfort to patients and families facing end of life. The only requirement to become a hospice volunteer is a willingness to be there for others. MetroWest HomeCare & Hospice provides a comprehensive orientation and trainings that occur throughout the year. All volunteers must submit an application, interview with the manager of volunteers, and complete the appropriate background checks and health screenings. Call Hospice Volunteer Manager Patty Carlson at 508-424-0851 for further information.
