Northborough – Frank L. Krouse Jr. passed away peacefully at home Monday, Nov. 24, 2014. He was 80.
He leaves his loving wife of 58 years, Joan B. (Latendresse) Krouse; three sons, Thomas Krouse of Northborough, Stuart Krouse and his wife Carolyn of Oxford, and Robert Krouse and his companion, Theresa Robert of Bellingham; six grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Frances Johnson.
Born and raised in Northborough, Frank was the son of Frank and Hanna (Johnson) Krouse Sr. He was a lifelong resident of the town. He graduated from Northborough High School, attended Worcester Junior College, and served on active duty in the U.S. Army.
Frank was a 37-year employee of the former Bay State Abrasives in Westborough, retiring in 1996. The last position he held there was Distribution Coordinator.
He loved to hunt, fish, and kayak the fields and streams of Northborough and beyond. Years ago, he served as Scout Master for Troop #1 in Northborough. Most importantly, he was a devoted grandfather.
A private funeral will be held in Hays Funeral Home with Deacon Richard Martino officiating. There are no calling hours.
