Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Public Library recently held a Pajamas Donation Initiative to support the 9th Annual Boston Bruins/Cradles to Crayons PJ Drive, benefiting homeless or needy children across the state.
The library was in a friendly competition with the Westborough Public Library to see who could collect the most pajamas for the drive.
The goal of the drive, in its ninth year now, is to keep children in need feeling warm, safe, ready to learn and valued.
Luanne Morgado of Central One organized a mini PJ drive at the credit union. Employees joined forces to make generous contributions. As a result Central One Federal Credit Union made a donation of 19 sets of pajamas and $90 in cash that will outfit 28 of the state’s neediest children with brand new PJs.
Central One Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution that provides members with excellent, personalized service. For more information visit www.centralfcu.com.
