Westborough – Nomination papers are now available for Westborough’s annual Town Election to be held Tuesday, March 6. The last day to obtain nomination papers is Friday, Jan. 12, by 5 p.m. The deadline for nomination papers to be submitted to the town clerk for certification is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16. Candidates must submit 50 signatures of certified registered voters in Westborough.
Incumbents seeking re-election are: Board of Selectmen (two seats, three-year term): George Barrette; School Committee (one seat, three-year term): Nicole Sullivan; Planning Board (one seat, five-year term): Hazel W. Nourse; Trustees of the Public Library (three seats, three-year term and one seat, one-year term): Karen Fay, James Holmes and Carolyn Spring. There is also a one-year term vacancy.
