Shrewsbury – Michael J. Lane, 76, of Shrewsbury, formerly of West Bridgewater passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2022 after a long period of declining health.
Born in Worcester, long time teacher and librarian in the Avon School system. Mike was a graduate of Classic High School and Worcester State College.
Son of Thomas J. and Marion G. (Convery) Lane. Brother of Thomas D. Lane, Sr. of Worcester and Elizabeth A. Rickertsen of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. In addition to his parents, Mike is predeceased by his sister Patricia M. Daley of Truro. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services at St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester will be held at the convenience of the family.
