Eraldo I. BezerraHudson – Eraldo I. Bezerra, 77, of Hudson, passed away Tuesday night on June 20, 2023 in Seabrook, NH on his way to work.

He was born in Brazil in 1945 near Maceio in Northeast Brazil a son of Maria Clemilda Ivo de Araújo and the late José Bezerra de Araújo. He currently resided in Hudson Mass with his beloved daughter and son-in-law.

Eraldo started working at age 13 and never stopped. In Brazil, as a sugarcane truck driver and in the US he mostly performed floor cleaning and waxing all over New England. He was a tireless person often out working people half his age well into the night. He was giving and kind, never waiting for a thank you for anything he did for you or gave to you. Eraldo prized himself in fixing things; especially things that others said could not be fixed. He loved his time going back to Brazil and spending hours with lifelong friends and family in the towns of Recife, Timbaúba, Maceio and Ferreiros visiting every friend’s house no matter how remote. In Ferreiros, Eraldo built the first family home brick by brick and would make the current family home bigger and better on each trip South.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Maria Ivonete Bezerra; children, Milton Ceasar Bezerra, Eraldo Bezerra Filho, Veridiana Bulhoes and Gleicy Spinelli; siblings, Zilda Bezerra Couteau, Evanda Ivo Bezerra Alves, Maria Madalena Bezerra Martins, Epaminondas Ivo Bezerra , Evandro Ivo Bezerra, João Ivo Bezerra , Ivanise Ivo Bezerra and Cláudio Fernando Ivo Bezerra; grandchildren, Laysa Marcos, Vinicius Bulhoes, Igor Bezerra, João Pedro Bezerra, Letticia Bezerra, Lucas Spinelli, Layla Spinelli and Julian Spinelli and great grandchildren, Laura and Leah Marcos.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his siblings, Evaldo Ivo Bezerra and Everaldo Ivo Bezerra.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Rd., Hampton. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Merrimac, MA.
