Webster – The Webster Five Foundation, as part of the Web of Caring to Make a Difference Program, recently announced that it will donate $2,000 to the Rainbow Child Development Center.
A Worcester-based organization, Rainbow serves as an open education, language-based program that supports children's growth in all areas of development. The Web of Caring to Make a Difference Program reinforces Webster Five's long-term initiative to give back to the community by supporting local organizations that are making a difference in the community. All donated funds will help to support the social services that Rainbow provides to low-income children in their preschool program.
The Rainbow Child Development Center offers several programs that are staffed by teachers, therapists, volunteers, and interns. Rainbow's Preschool Program serves 64 children from the community and offers an environment that encourages positivity and growth and, in turn, ensures academic success.
“Webster Five Foundation's generous donation will help immensely in our mission to support the social services that our programs provide to children and families in need. We are extremely appreciative of their support,” said Program Director Linda Mayuski.

Web of Caring to Make a Difference is a bank-wide community program that was created by Webster Five as a tangible means for the Bank as an organization, and its employees as individuals, to make a positive impact by supporting local organizations that also are making a difference. Through The Webster Five Foundation, the program has donated more than $1.5 million to various local nonprofit organizations for programs that support expanding and improving access to education, culture and the arts, social services, charitable activities, and community development.
