Friends of the Shrewsbury Library announce Annual Used Book Sale

Shrewsbury – The Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St., will hold its Annual Used Book Sale Thursday, April 5, from 2 to 8:30 p.m.; Friday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, April 8, from 1 to 4 p.m.

New this year, members of the Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library will receive one complimentary book during the sale and patrons are asked to bring their own bags for the sale. Cash and checks only please. Patrons and shoppers can expect a wide variety of gently used books, CDs and DVDs.

The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the constant support of the library and special events. Samples of these programs include museum passes, scholarships, special speaker and author visits, and summer reading events.
