Rainbow brightens the afternoon
A second rainbow can be seen faintly to the right of the brighter rainbow, which spanned the sky.
Westborough – Our region was treated a beautiful rainbow this afternoon, brightening an otherwise dreary day. From about 4 p.m. to 4:25 p.m., a double rainbow (a faint second rainbow is to the right) could be seen in one direction, while, in another direction, the sky appeared golden. Photos/Tracy Nickerson
In addition to the rainbow, the sky in the opposite direction turned a beautiful golden color.
