Anne M. Johnson, 101, of NorthboroughNorthborough – Anne M. (Fors) Johnson, 101, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 at the Coleman House in Northborough, surrounded by her family, where she had been a resident for the past two years. She was the wife of 35 years to the late Otto E. Johnson, who died in 1972.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan L. Rossi and her husband Robert of Shrewsbury, with whom Anne lived with since 1972; her son, Otto E. Johnson Jr. of Jamaica Plain; and two grandchildren, Jessica J. Rossi of Forest Hill, Md. and Matthew R. Johnson of Watertown. She is also survived by her special friend, Baxter, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Anne was born in Omaha, Neb. to the late Axel and Hilda Fors. She was predeceased by her six siblings, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Katherine, Lenora, Carl and Ruth.

Following marriage, Anne foremost was a wife and mother. She was a bookkeeper for her husband’s construction company and later a bookkeeper for Rosenlund Travel Service. She enjoyed cooking, traveling to visit family across the country and always had a book in hand. She was a true friend to everyone, always seeing only the best in everyone.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation to all of the staff at the Coleman House for their devoted care and dignity for the past two years, and JHC Hospice team for their sincere supportive care.

Funeral services will be held in Omaha, Neb. at the convenience of the family.
