Dear sir/Madam:
I am writing in support of the planned Mass General Brigham facility in Westborough. I was so happy to see that the Select Board members support this project because I think it will be a great asset to the area.
I know there has been some voiced opposition. I also noticed that a lot of the opposition was not really from people in this community. But as a Westborough resident and a patient who currently travels into Boston for doctor appointments, I can say that this will be so much more convenient. Having this medical facility in town means that I will not need to drive for an hour or more each way, worrying about traffic and parking issues, just for medical appointments. It will benefit the entire region to have MGB practitioners here in Westborough offering the care many of us need but closer to home.
