Alice B. GannonHudson – Alice B. (Santos) Gannon, 90, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of almost 70 years, Gilbert F. Gannon, who passed on April 29th, 2021.

Alice was born in Boston, MA, on January 11, 1932, one of two daughters of the late Henry J. and Helen H. (Johnstone) Santos. She was raised in Boston, where she attended Boston Christian High School, and shortly after high school, she married her beloved husband Gilbert Gannon, on May 19, 1951. After spending their first 10 years of marriage together in Somerville, they relocated to Hudson in 1961, where she currently resided. Alice was a longtime very active member of the First Federated Church in Hudson MA. She was Hudson’s first Police Traffic Officer. She was a former girl scouts leader, an avid camper and especially enjoyed spending time with her family in the White Mountains. She also enjoyed ceramics, painting and playing piano and organ.

Alice is survived by her son Gary Gannon and his partner Angela Brown of Ashburnham, MA, her granddaughter Staci Gannon, and her partner Donald Hunt and her Great Grandsons, Cohen Hunt and Kasen Hunt of Leominster MA. She was also predeceased by her sister, Laura J. Pilleri of Medford, MA

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 4-7pm, on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME of 50 Central St Hudson, MA. A Celebration of her life will be held at 11am on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the First Federated Church of Hudson, 200 Central St.,  Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Forest Vale Cemetery in Hudson, for interment.
