Northborough – The Algonquin Regional High School Tomahawks boys’ and girls’ basketball teams defeated the Shrewsbury High School Colonials in back-to-back games Feb. 6. The combination of senior night for Algonquin, the spirited crowd and the music of the pep band provided the extra bit of magic the Tomahawks needed to pull off two dramatic wins.

Southborough – The town's "Swap Shop" will remain open, at least for the near future. The shop had been due to close on Jan. 7 but was issued a reprieve by the Board of Selectmen at its Jan. 3 meeting.
