The fair taught them a financial lesson designed as an interactive game, noted Scott Darlington, HHS teacher and Career Pathways program specialist.

Hudson - The Hudson Public Library has a number of children’s activities coming up throughout the month of May. Lap time is Tuesdays, May 3, 17, 24 and 31, at 10 a.m. for children 2 and under. Children learn finger plays and songs. There will also be Lap Time Take Two Saturday, May 7, at 10 a.m. These are drop-in programs.

‘Historic’ gathering in Hudson brings together communities to fight the opioid epidemic

Hudson/Marlborough – More than 600 residents, community leaders, state officials and family members of those who have died from drug overdoses gathered at Grace Baptist Church in Hudson April 6 to address the opioid epidemic. The event featured the screening of the short film “If Only,” filmed in Tewksbury and produced by James Wahlberg, executive director of the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation. Wahlberg was present to introduce the film.

Cut-a-thon to benefit Clardy children

Hudson – The Hair Cuttery will be holding a Cut-a-thon Sunday, April 10, to benefit the children of State Trooper Thomas Clardy. Patrons can stop in at the shop located at 10 Technology Drive in Hudson that day between the hours of 5-8 p.m. and receive a shampoo and cut for $10. All proceeds will be donated to the Clardy’s Children’s Fund.
