Comedy show to benefit robotics team

Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury High School Robotics Team #467 will hold a comedy show featuring three comedians, Saturday, Oct. 5, at Maironis Park, 52 S. Quinsigamond Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show starts at 7:30. Tickets for the 21 and older event are $25.

Headliner James Dorsey, winner of the TV show “Catch a Rising Star,” shares life experiences through high energy, witty act outs and facial expressions. His use of imitations and characters is incredibly vivid and entertaining. Dorsey has been featured on the cover of Worcester Magazine, in Pulse Magazine, The Boston Herald, on Spike TV, the MyTV Network, and Comcast on Demand and was winner of the 2011 Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival.
