Northborough – Claire M. (Barrette) Antonellis, 84, passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Louis J. Antonellis; loving mother to Janice Antonellis and husband Ralph Finos of Holliston, Richard Antonellis and wife Patty of West Warwick, RI, Jeanine Antonellis Davis of Northborough, Stephen Antonellis and wife Sherry of Flanders, New Jersey, and Donald Antonellis and partner Stephen Trumbull of Lyon, France. She also leaves son-in-law Michael Griffin and wife Carol Brennan of Northborough; was the loving grandmother to Kristen McGovern, Katie Antonellis, Marisa and Elisa Finos, and Madeleine Antonellis; and also Nicole and Jake Peer and Matthew and Kate Griffin. She was predeceased by daughters Bernadette Griffin (1991) and Louise Antonellis (2011).
Claire was born in Marlborough and moved to Newton, where she graduated from Our Lady's High School in 1945. She moved to Watertown where she lived for 54 years before moving to Northborough in 1999.
She was devoted to her family and friends. While raising her children, she was the bookkeeper for the family business, Sycamore Service, in Watertown. She worked for Honeywell Information Systems in Waltham/Billerica until her retirement in 1990.
Calling hours will be held Friday May 25, from 5 to 8 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday May 26, at 9:30 a.m., in St. Bernadette Parish, 266 Main St., Northborough. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery of Needham.
