Templeton – Alan W. Keddy Sr., 83, of Templeton, MA, formerly of Hudson, MA died Friday, September 22nd. He passed at home after a long illness surrounded by his family.

Alan was born in Boston MA. The son of the late Albert and Hope Keddy of Sandwich, MA. Alan was predeceased by his wife Frances A. Keddy (2016).

Alan is survived by his three children, Paul F. Keddy of Athol, Alan W. Keddy Jr. and his wife Joi of Athol, and his daughter Marcia L. Lynch and her husband Brad, of Athol. He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Jessica Keddy, Alan Keddy III, Kyle Lynch, and Jennifer Lynch. He also leaves his brother John Keddy and his wife Patt of Dinuba CA.

Alan served as a Navy Seabee and worked as an Ironworker for over 40 years with Local 7 of Boston. He and his wife cherished life on the shores of Fort Meadow Lake in Hudson, MA, where they raised their family for over 30 years. In 2007 they moved to Templeton, MA to be close to their children. Alan was a passionate New England sports fan, never missing a game on TV.

He loved his family and friends. Loved being outside in his yard and loved Italian Sunday dinners with family. We wish to express our sincere thanks for the exceptional care our Dad received from the staff at Care Central VNA & Hospice, especially nurses Stephanie and Ron and Home health aides Michelle and Carolina.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 11:00am at Southborough Rural Cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road, Southborough, MA. All are welcome.
