Luthier Lives the Dream in Grafton

Grafton - Steve Beckwith was already living the dream before he and his wife Jan relocated to Grafton from Bolton this past fall. Beckwith, who left behind a high-stress, senior management position to launch his second career as a luthier - a craftsperson who builds and repairs guitars and other stringed instruments - is hoping that the move will make that dream just a little more visible.

Grafton resident helps bring classic plays to area theaters

Grafton – About 15 years ago, Frank Bartucca of Grafton rekindled his enthusiasm for theater. He studied master acting classes at several venues in Boston and Worcester, while performing in plays with community theater groups. Then in 2010, he founded the 4th Wall Stage Company.

Grafton – When one thinks of William Shakespeare, perhaps his classic works, such as “King Lear” or “Macbeth,” come to mind. Or perhaps one of the many great actors, such as Richard Burton or Sir Laurence Olivier, who played such memorable roles.
