Shrewsbury – An Upton teen, John Street, 18, has been identified as the young man killed in an accident last night at the Ski Ward venue. According to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, whose office is investigating the accident along with State and Shrewsbury police, Street was attending a practice at Ski Ward with his teammates from Nipmuc Regional High School.

Upton man killed in fall at Ski Ward

Shrewsbury - A 19-year-old Upton man was killed last night in an accident at the Ski Ward venue. According to the Worcester County District Attorney's office, the teen, a student at Nipmuc Regional High School, was at the venue with the school's ski team. He was on a ski lift when he fell nearly 30 feet to the ground and hit his head. He was rushed to UMass Medical Center- University Campus in Worcester where he died.
