Incumbents win Hudson selectmen's race

Hudson – Incumbents Joseph J. Durant and James Dalton Vereault will retain their seats on the Hudson Board of Selectmen. The two received the most votes, 1,353 and 1,093, respectively, in the Annual Town Election May 14. The third candidate in the race, Michael T. Bloomer, received 671 votes. There will also be one new but familiar face on the board – Fred P. Lucy III, who won a special race to complete the term vacated by Santino Parente in 2011. Lucy previously served on the board for nine years. He received 901 votes to defeat John M. Parent and Cipriano S. Pinto, who received 715 and 250 votes, respectively.
