Marlborough - Clifford A. Blackman, 81, former longtime resident of Hudson, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy (Sykes) Blackman, in 2009.
Northborough - Eve (Zukowsky) Todd passed away at home Wednesday, March 7, 2012 surrounded by her family, whom she loved dearly. Her husband, William E. Todd, passed away in 1987.
Marlborough - Edna E. Matregrano, 97, of Marlborough, Kingston and New York City, died peacefully Monday, March 5, 2012. Born in Marlborough, the daughter of Anna (Russo) and Raphaele Matregrano, she spent the majority of her adult life in New York City, where she worked as a supervisor for the New York Telephone Company (AT&T).
West Boylston - Robert J. Farquharson, 81, a former longtime resident of Hudson, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester. He is survived by his wife of 8-plus years, Julie (Lavallee) Proko-Farquharson of West Boylston, and was predeceased by his first wife, Louisa "Skip" (Collette) Farquharson, in 2002.
Shrewsbury - Sheilagh M. (Donoghue) Coulter, 78, died peacefully at home Monday, March 5, 2012 after an extended illness. She was married to Lt. Colonel Richard W. Coulter, who died in 2010, for 51 years.
Cullman, Ala. - Therese A. (Laurence) Christian, 79, formerly of Northborough and Shrewsbury, died Monday, March 5, 2012 at her home in Cullman, Ala. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Ernest F. and Alice (Pelletier) Laurence, and was raised in Northborough. She was a 1954 graduate of Our Lady of Grace High School in Colebrook, N.H.
Jacksonville, Fla. - Nicholas DiPilato, 88, formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 4 2012 in Jacksonville, Fla. He will lovingly be remembered by his devoted wife of 67 years, Bienvenida "Minnie" (Luna) DiPilato;
Worcester - Deacon Christopher C. Meyers, 57, formerly of Marlborough, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012 in Guatemala, two weeks after arriving for his new assignment at the Valley of the Angels Orphanage in San Jose El Manzano, Aldea.
Hudson - Fernando F. Goncalves, 43, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester. Born in Searraquinhos, Montalegre, Portugal, son of Davide Goncalves of Portugal and the late Helena (Ferreira) Goncalves, he had resided in Hudson the past 21 years after moving from Portugal.
